The association unites people
The Climate Initiative Association unites people from the fields of science, business and civil society who are responsible and conscious about the protection of the vital resources of the planet Earth, which are used by mankind.
Association:

• represents and protects the interests of the Association's members in the field of climate change issues in public authorities;
• provides assistance in the implementation by the members of the association of their professional and other activities in the field of climate change issues
• provides assistance in the implementation of climate projects;
• organizes the interaction of association members in matters of methodological support for carbon regulation activities
• ensures the participation of association member projects in the field of climate change issues in federal programs on environmental development and climate change
• presents projects of association members in the field of climate change issues at the federal and regional levels (conferences, seminars, round tables);
• organizes networking with higher education institutions within the framework of the statutory goals of the Association;
• develops and implements educational programs for training specialists from among the members of the association on carbon regulation, climate change and sustainable development in accordance with F3 dated 07/02/2021 N 296-F3 "On limiting greenhouse gas emissions"
• coordinates the scientific activities of the members of the association in the field of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing carbon dioxide absorption
• provides assistance to members of the association in organizing research and development work in the field of climate change issues
• assists members of the association in preparing applications for federal scientific and technical programs on ecology and climate change and other federal programs in order to obtain funding for projects to mitigate the effects of climate change and adaptation measures
• provides services to members of the association and partners in the preparation of carbon reporting regulated by F3 dated 07/02/2021 No. 296-F3 "On limiting greenhouse Gas emissions", calculating the carbon footprint of products, assessing the potential for reducing and developing targets for greenhouse gas emissions, and implementing greenhouse gas emission management systems;
• assists the members of the association in the validation and verification of carbon documentation and climate projects;
• conducts educational work in the field of climate change for students, schoolchildren and other segments of the population of the Russian Federation;
